In collaboration with NYC's finest brewer, iconic laneway venues Section 8 and Ferdydurke are teaming up for the Brooklyn Block Party.

This year’s Brooklyn Block Party will see iconic laneway venues Section 8 and Ferdydurke transform into an all encompassing hub, celebrating Brooklyn's music, street art, food and culture.

As day turns to night, the Brooklyn Block Party will come alive with the grit and grassroots of Brooklyn, as only the boroughs would have it.

Section 8 and Ferdydurke have forged a collaboration with world-renowned street art pioneers The Bushwick Collective.

Named as one of the ‘Top Street Artists of All Time’ by Complex Magazine, Chilean born, Brooklyn based artist El Cekis from The Bushwick Collective will be flying down from New York to paint a special commission piece live at the event.

BROOKLYN ZOO

Section 8 will be transforming into the ‘Brooklyn Zoo’ - an intersection of live street art and beats. El Cekis will be joined by an array of musicians and beatmakers including So.Crates (LIVE), Obliveus, Max Vegas, Sadiva, Emelyne, Peril (1200 Techniques), Melo Felo and more. There’ll be additional live art by secret guests to be announced, and a barber shop for punters looking for a damn good fade.

CONEY ISLAND DISCO PALACE

Above the block, Ferdydurke’s loft is taking to the spirit of Brooklyn’s famed Coney Island - transforming into a freak show of dreams, dogs and disco spinners. By day, chow into a carnival style menu, paired with a specialty range of Brooklyn beer - and saunter off the boardwalk with Andy Webb / Disco Delicious (SYD) Donald’s House and Midnight Tenderness.

A full range of Brooklyn beers (some only available in the US) will be available during the event.
